You gotta love tracking. This is my first real play around with the little extra programme that comes with AE called Mocha. It is a really powerful piece of software and I can’t wait to really get my teeth into it. The other pretty cool thing I did here was to use the ‘Lens Blur’ effect with the ‘Depth Map Layer’ set to a pre-composed radial ramp gradient which was key framed to follow the tattoos as they appear on my face .
For this short I basically went with a Sci-Fi feel. Just using the Bad TV preset which has been slightly tweaked shine to blow out some of the colour, a slight wiggle on the camera and time remapping of 3 audio clips to give an eerie feel. Continue Reading
This is hopefully the first of many. It’s a short piece that shows some basic skills. Working in 3D space, with masks, and audio keyframes.
The most interesting piece to create was actually the sound wave. It is made up of round 12 masked solids, each with a scale diffirence of roughly 10% and a position difference of 20% on the z axis. Continue Reading
